CANCER is one of the world's greatest takers of life. CANCER does not discriminate. It affects men, women and children alike and it must be stopped.

In 2007, a team of 30 cyclists set off from Brisbane and rode to Sydney for the Inaugural Tour de Cure. The Tour de Cure cycling event, raises much needed funds to assist in the fight against Cancer. The 2007 ride saw in excess of $400,000 raised. In 2008, the Tour de Cure riders made the journey from Melbourne to Sydney in order to continue the fight, and funds raised have now reached nearly $1million - just 12 months!

As one of the co-founders of this charity, the Tour de Cure has become a big part of Gary's life. So many of us are affected in some way by Cancer, and Gary is committed to making a difference by raising funds to not only provide treatment options for sufferers and support for families, but ultimately to find a cure.
