We’ve seen body parts, car parts, engineering parts and all manner of objects produced through the trend of 3D printing. Now we’ve found Olo, a new entry to the space, currently going through the roof on Kickstarter, that allows you to do 3D printing using your smartphone. Once you've chosen what you would like to print, you use the light from your mobile, place the Olo box on top of your phone, fill it with resin, put on the lid and your phone light powers the box to create your 3D image. You can use soft or hard resins and it can even be done using metallic objects. This is a pretty cool concept that is certainly going to open up a lot of possibilities once people get their heads around the fact that 3D printing can be done simply, efficiently and powered by your phone.
