The Espresso gets excited when a designer looks at a traditional item, challenges it, and says what if you did it differently?
Polish designer Robert Majkut has challenged the design of the traditional piano by creating the Whaletone Royal Digital Piano. Measuring 13 x 8’ this piano resembles more a stylish watercraft than it does a piano. No strings or hammers under the hood, instead the whole piano is digitally driven. It comes with MIDI inputs and outputs, USB and headphones sockets so you can play in silence to immerse yourself in the experience. The Whaletone Royal Digital Piano is built to order so you can customise it to your own environment.
