DESIGN : The Sole of Social Media

Imagine a pair of shoes that when worn can disconnect you from the Internet.

Anatomic & Co have created this capability. Built into the sole of the shoe, and using Bluetooth technology, is a system that connects to an app. Within the app you can personalise your preferences, dictating when you would like the app to disconnect you from the web.

Connectivity is a major disruptor in the world of creativity innovation performance and mindfulness. It's a shame we have to go to these lengths due to our own lack of discipline to allow us some quiet thinking time, or socializing time undistracted and unconnected.
