How Does 2015 Look?

Welcome back to the Espresso for the New Year!  We hope you had a refreshing break and are ready for a new collection of ideas to stimulate your imagination and get your Mojo working for the year ahead.

Over the break I met a lady who is creating her perfect world on Pinterest. For those who haven’t visited Pinterest yet, it’s an app that allows you to ‘pin’ or record visuals you can get from blogs, websites and the like to create boards. It really is an amazing and powerful tool that millions of people are taking advantage of. You can create a board of pictures for anything you like – homes, sheds, craft, art, food, business ideas, fitness, kids –  in fact pretty much anything you can imagine, you can create boards around. This particular lady I met was creating her dream home.

This time of the year is the best time to start dreaming. What does the year look like for you? What do you want in your life? What do you want out of your life? I think Pinterest is a really interesting tool to allow you to collect visuals that can make up your perfect home, perfect body, perfect hobby or perfect life. By building a board and calling it ‘My Dream *whatever*’ you essentially have somewhere to store the visual ideas and concepts that you have been dreaming of. There’s a lot of power in seeing it visually and Pinterest is an amazing tool for doing just that.
