Sometime back, we reported on a sportswear brand called Sensoria who were incorporating digital technology into their clothing to monitor our health.
Their latest range of sportswear incorporates a monitor that can allow the wearer to keep an eye on their heart rate and cardiac health. Made up of a T-shirt and sports bra the new range about to be marketed through Kickstarter features built in electrodes and a clip-on heart rate monitor that will connect up to an App, designed to not only help you train effectively, it also checks that your ticker is working properly.  
The App monitors your heart rate and your heart rate variability,and any cardiac irregularities. It also can send a text to your loved ones if , and alert you to potential heart attack by measuring your cardiac irregularities. Should misfortune strike and you suffer cardiac arrest during your workout, the App sends a text alert to to your loved ones along with your GPS co-ordinates, so that medical help can be urgently arranged.
There is no doubt we're going to see a lot more of this type of this health-conscious technology as it blends with fashion.
