Start Over

We would all love to start a new venture, create a new product, enter a sporting event, or begin a relationship knowing that there was no possible way we could fail and end up having to face some sort of pain.
However anybody who has achieved anything in any aspect of their lives has fronted up and dealt with pain. Sadly it is part of the growing, achieving, and creative process.
Former country legend Chris LeDoux  once said in a country song “losing is a place to start over again”. It is the fear of contemplating failure that prevents most of us from ever starting a new business, trying a sport, commencing a new activity, and even in some cases entering into a new relationship. 
It is those that appreciate and acknowledge that failure and pain are part of the learning process of life that achieve greatness, inspire others, and end up not regretting never starting. Garth Brooks once sang “Pull down your hat tight and just LeDoux it”.
