There’s a new retail brand in the UK which opened recently called VitaMojo. Essentially it’s a sub-restaurant built around the idea of personalising your intake of nutrients. Using instore iPads you choose the ingredients you’d like in your salad and then using sliding bars you can specify how many grams of each ingredient you want. At the same time dynamic charts automatically show you how much protein, fat or carbohydrates is in your meal. It’s probably the first example we’ve seen of a cafe or restaurant allowing you to specifically choose how much of what you want in your meal, based not only on quantity but also on nutritional value.
